The touchscreen on your CAKE Point of Sale uses a technology called Projective Capacitive Touch (PCAP) that helps facilitate an easy-to-use touchscreen experience whether you’re using a stylus, flour-covered hands, or wearing food prep gloves.
CUSTOMER FACING DISPLAY
Mostly used in QSR counter setups, your CAKE Point of Sale station includes a customer touch screen display that allows a customer to review order information, sign credit card receipts by finger, enroll in loyalty programs, and sign up for e-receipts.
YOUR SECURITY MATTERS
Secure & Reliable Networks
Every CAKE Point of Sale installation comes with a CradlePoint MBR 1200B router that allows your CAKE Point of Sale to operate securely and lets CAKE proactively monitor your setup. The CradlePoint can also be used to support a CAKE OrderPad.
The CradlePoint is also the hub connecting all your networked devices. At CAKE we’ve experimented with many wireless solutions for POS and printers, and have yet to find one that is reliable enough for a restaurant environment. For this reason CAKE requires a hardwired connection for all Point of Sale stations and printers.
Rugged & Durable
Your CAKE POS station includes a thermal printer that takes a 3 1/8 X 230 receipt roll that handles an average of over 400 orders.
CAKE’s printer works nicely as a receipt printer or as a kitchen printer.
You can also upgrade to an Epson impact printer for an additional cost.
